Compostition

The skeleton at the center — a dead form, its surface covered with a procedural photorealistic material mimicking the properties of mercury. As if liquid metal had replicated the anatomy down to the last detail and frozen, reduced to a single body, elevated into timelessness.
In the background, a state of sensory isolation, where sound, movement, and all references vanish. A liquid resembling oil — a visual manifestation of breath, barely lingering, almost forced.

Final Processing

In the final stage, I ran the image through a MiniDV camera to achieve digital degradation: soft blurring, muted colors, and an aesthetic of visual loss.

Why Out Of Memory

It’s an error I encountered in After Effects, and I realized it was the perfect name for my next work.
